This mural, by the artist Jose Clemente Orozco, depicts the conflict between false ideologies. I can see Masonic, Nazi, Fascist, French Revolution, Communist, and Christian symbols depicted here. There may be others I've missed. The mural is part of a larger one in the Governor's Palace in Guadalajara. Orozco was another of Mexico's great muralists. And possibly the most tortured, if his work reflected what was going on in his head. I like his message here, but this was the most mellow of his murals. He was a contemporary of Diego Rivera.
